April Vacation with Marci: A Family Cruise on Wonder of the Seas
Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas
Planning an April vacation sounds simple—until you start comparing flights, hotels, activities, room configurations and everyone's opinions.
My Europe with Marci 2026 group trip went so well—and was such a fun experience for the families who joined me—that it inspired me to plan another easy, memorable group getaway. This time, I’m taking it somewhere warm: April Vacation with Marci aboard Wonder of the Seas. It will be a quick, easy warm-weather escape that gives families plenty to do without requiring a full week away.
From April 19–23, 2027, I'll be hosting a four-night Bahamas cruise from Miami aboard Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas. The trip visits Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay and is designed for families of all ages, multigenerational groups, couples and friends who want sunshine, fun and a vacation that feels easy from the beginning.

Why a Four-Night Cruise Works So Well for April Vacation
A weeklong trip can be wonderful, but it also comes with more planning, more time away, less downtime before and after travel, and of course- a higher overall price. Four nights hits a very appealing middle ground.
It is long enough to unpack, relax and feel like you went somewhere—but short enough to fit comfortably into school vacation week. You get two very different Bahamas experiences, a resort-style ship and plenty of time together without trying to fill seven separate vacation days. You have the ability to relax at chic beach clubs or explore the islands, or even skip an excursion altogether and enjoy the amazing ship.
It is also a manageable introduction for families who have never cruised. You can experience the ship, dining, entertainment and private-island day without committing to a full week for your first sailing.
Wonder of the Seas Is the Perfect Family Ship
On a short cruise, the ship matters. Wonder of the Seas is not simply how we get to the Bahamas—it is a major part of the vacation. With eight distinct neighborhoods and more than 20 dining options, it offers enough variety for different ages, interests and energy levels without requiring families to plan every minute in advance.
For younger children, there is the underwater-themed Wonder Playscape, Splashaway Bay aqua park, a carousel, mini golf and Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean youth program. Older kids and adults can take on The Perfect Storm waterslides, the Ultimate Abyss, the FlowRider surf simulator, zip line, rock-climbing walls and sports court.
Families can reconnect over an AquaTheater production, an ice-skating show, karaoke or a meal together. Dining ranges from familiar, easy choices such as Sorrento's Pizza, Windjammer and the Main Dining Room to specialty experiences including The Mason Jar, Chops Grille, Izumi and Giovanni's Italian Kitchen.
Parents and grandparents get a vacation too. The adults-only Solarium, Vitality Spa, Central Park, quiet ocean-view spaces and a wide variety of restaurants and lounges make it possible to slow down while the rest of the family stays entertained.
That flexibility is what makes Wonder such a strong choice for a hosted family trip. Little kids, older kids, parents, grandparents, couples and friends do not have to want the exact same vacation. Everyone can find something they enjoy—and still come together for the parts that matter most.
Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay
This sailing combines two different Bahamas days.
Nassau can be as relaxed or active as you want it to be. Depending on your family's interests, you might choose a beach day, resort experience, cultural sightseeing, shopping or a water-based excursion. Royal Caribbean offers lots of great Nassau excursions, but families may also want to simply walk off the ship and stroll over to Margaritaville Resort and purchase a day pass.
Perfect Day at CocoCay is Royal Caribbean's private-island destination. Families can enjoy beaches, pools and included island amenities, or add experiences such as the waterpark or upgraded beach areas. I can help each family compare the options before we sail so you are not guessing about what is worth reserving. Options for Large Families
Cruise planning becomes more complicated for large families. Many standard cabins do not accommodate everyone, and the limited larger-room categories can disappear quickly. Luckily, Wonder of the Seas has options for all sizes of families.
I currently have a limited number of rooms that can accommodate larger families who want to stay together. The best arrangement depends on your children's ages, your preferred level of space, the cabin category and current availability.
Instead of trying to piece it together online, send me your family size and your children's ages. I can explain the available configurations and quote the options that make the most sense.
Choose the Cabin—and Price Level—That Works for You
This group is not limited to one cabin category. I have different price levels available, including interior rooms, balcony rooms and larger-family options.
• Interior cabins currently start at $659 per person
• Balcony cabins currently start at $722 per person
These are just two of the most common categories booked; there are many cabin levels and types to choose from.
These starting prices apply to the first two guests sharing a room. Third and fourth guests, including children staying in the same cabin, will be priced lower. Exact pricing depends on the number and ages of travelers, cabin category and current availability.
This is why I recommend requesting a personalized quote rather than multiplying the advertised per-person rate by the number of family members. Your actual family total may look very different.
Add a Night in Miami and Start the Trip More Relaxed
A pre-cruise night in Miami at available at several hotels with various price levels available.
Miami Beach
Arriving the day before the cruise gives you breathing room if flights are delayed and removes the pressure of flying on embarkation morning. You can add the Miami night, flights and other travel arrangements through me—or keep your reservation cruise-only.
My goal is to make the trip flexible. Some families will want the easiest possible package, while others may prefer to arrange their own flights or extend their time in Florida.
What Is Included in your cruise fare?
Your cruise fare includes:
• Four-night cruise accommodations

• Access to Perfect Day at CocoCay
• Planning support from me before you sail
• A Little Extra from Me: Every cabin booked as part of April Vacation with Marci will receive a $50 onboard credit to enjoy during the cruise. ($50 onboard credit is per cabin, not per guest, and applies only to eligible reservations booked through Jetsetter Society as part of this hosted group. Additional restrictions may apply.)
• Travel Planning Support from Marci: I’ll assist your family with coordinating transportation between the airport, hotel and cruise port, including pre- and post-cruise arrangements. Transportation costs are not included in the advertised cruise fare and will be quoted separately.
Important Pricing Information: Cruise fares are based on two guests per cabin and are subject to availability and change until booked. Taxes, fees, gratuities, flights, hotels, transportation, travel protection, shore excursions and other optional purchases are not included unless specifically stated. Third- and fourth-guest pricing may be lower when sharing the same cabin.
Who Should Join?
This trip is a great fit for families who want an easy school-vacation escape, families traveling with children of different ages, multigenerational groups, large families who need help finding the right room, couples or friends who enjoy an active ship, and first-time cruisers who want to try a shorter sailing.
You can participate in the group as much—or as little—as you like. This is not a trip where every hour is scheduled. You will have the support and social benefits of traveling with Marci while still having plenty of freedom to vacation your own way.
Request Pricing and Check Availability
Cabins and prices are subject to availability, and the limited rooms for large families are especially important to request early.
To receive a personalized quote, include your number of travelers, children's ages, preferred cabin type and whether you are interested in the additional Miami night.
I would love to have you join me for April Vacation with Marci aboard Wonder of the Seas!
